STORM WATCH: Rain then snow moves in overnight; 1-3 inches possible

Rain will develop overnight before transitioning to snow by morning, which could lead to a messy morning commute.
The snow will continue Thursday morning before ending around 11 a.m.
About 1-3 inches of wet snow is expected from this system.
The morning commute will be slick and treacherous.
Skies will clear during the afternoon with it becoming windy and much colder.
The weekend is still up in the air as to whether Connecticut gets a big nor'easter. Most of the computer models are trending that Connecticut won't get one, but this also needs to be watched very closely through the week.
It stays pretty much cold into the weekend and into next week.
