St. Peter’s University professor joins News 12 to discuss the gun reform in wake of Texas shooting

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding a shooting at a Texas elementary school that left 19 children and two teachers dead, and many more injured.
After every mass shooting in the United States – especially ones targeting children – the nation cries out and asks why this is happening.
It inevitably leads to a debate on stricter gun control.
Many are calling on Congress to act – but this might be easier said than done.
