Rutgers police investigate 3 separate break-ins on Livingston campus

Authorities say the thief hit three different spots on campus early Wednesday morning – the Livingston Dining Commons, Livingston Parking Deck and the Rutgers Athletic Performing Center.

Rutgers University police are asking for the public’s help in finding the person responsible for several break-ins on the Livingston campus in Piscataway.

Authorities say the thief hit three different spots on campus early Wednesday morning – the Livingston Dining Commons, Livingston Parking Deck and the Rutgers Athletic Performance Center. Police say the thief got in through unsecured doors between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m.

Police say that the suspect was dressed all in black with an Adidas vest. According to police, there was damage found in both buildings and valuables were stolen from the car.

Officials are reminding students and visitors to campus to take safety precautions and report any suspicious activity.

Anyone with information about these crimes is urged to call Rutgers police at 732-932-7211.
