A nearly six-year-old murder case in Rockland County has ended with a guilty plea.
Prosecutors say 30-year-old Blanchard Glaudin admitted to fatally stabbing security guard Sandra Wilson at the Finkelstein Memorial Library in Spring Valley.
The attack happened in February 2020 after Wilson told Glaudin to lower the volume of music playing through his headphones.
Glaudin, who was homeless and known at the library, was originally found not competent to stand trial. He will be sentenced in February.
Wilson’s family previously settled a lawsuit with the library, saying Wilson had been harassed by Glaudin but no action was taken by the library.
