People living at 790 Concourse Village say the building is continually deteriorating but their rent keeps increasing.

Residents say some of these issues include a collapsed garage, open ceilings, unpredictable heat, loss of amenities and more.

"You have to walk through a narrow walkway now. There used to be a courtyard. There used to be a children's playground where children used to play there. Slowly but surely, we're losing ground here," says Elizabeth Turkel.

Emma, who has lived in the building for over 30 years, tells News 12 that residents used to pay around $60 to park in the garage. Since then, it collapsed. With no word on when it will be fixed, they now say they have to pay over $300 to park at a local grocery store.

"It's kind of costly. It's really not affordable but that's what we're forced to pay now that we don't have parking at Concourse Village," she says.

Residents say they have brought up these concerns for years, but nothing is being done.

"The infrastructure of this building is basically caving in and we've had millions of dollars donated towards that and nothing’s been done for the last three years," says Turkel.

News 12 reached out to management about these concerns but did not hear back.
