Milder temps, sunny days ahead on Long Island

A nice stretch of dry and warming weather is ahead on Long Island.
For today, expect sunny skies and highs into the upper-40s. Overnight lows will be in the low-30s.
Thursday will remain sunny with highs dipping into the mid- to low-40s.
Things will cool off a bit for the weekend, but partly to mostly sunny skies will stay from Friday through Sunday. Friday' and Saturday's highs will only by in the upper-30s, while Sunday will be around 40 degrees.
The big warm-up comes at the start of the next work week, with highs in the low-50s by Tuesday.
On Wednesday, things will warm up with highs 46 to 49 degrees. Thursday and Friday will be mostly sunny with highs near 40 degrees.
