A multi-vehicle accident injured two people on the Taconic Parkway in Putnam Valley on Thursday evening, according to police.
Police say a Mercedes was traveling northbound before 8 p.m. when it hit the median and crossed into the southbound lanes. Two southbound cars struck debris from the initial crash, and those two vehicles then collided with each other.
Two people were taken to the hospital with injuries described as non‑life‑threatening.
