After months of watching a Hartsdale home, police made their move Monday allegedly uncovering a virtual drug-making warehouse.
Residents on Lytton Avenue say they were shocked to learn at least nine people were arrested in a heroin bust. Several agencies, local and federal, raided the home-based operation and seized $1 million worth of heroin, respirator masks and dozens of cylinders used to mix, cut and grind heroin.
Angel Thevenin, of Queens, was arrested in the Bronx after police say he left the Hartsdale home with envelopes filled with heroin. According to police, an hour after Thevenin was arrested, at least seven individuals left the Hartsdale home and were stopped by county police. The eight people now face charges including criminal possession of a controlled substance. They are being held at Westchester County Jail.
