The NYPD has released new images of two women police say attacked a subway worker inside a Brooklyn station—just moments after jumping a turnstile with a small child in tow.

The violent incident happened last Saturday at the New Lots Avenue No. 3 train station around 1:15 p.m.

Police say 51-year-old MTA station agent Marshalee Reid was working behind the booth when she saw the two women and the child enter without paying. She opened the mezzanine door and asked them to swipe a fare—but instead, they turned violent.

Investigators say the women started punching Reid in the face and body, then used a set of keys to hit her repeatedly—leaving deep cuts on her head, face and arms.

Reid told News 12 she was already recovering from brain surgery at the time, and now she's scared to leave her home.

“They said they were going to send someone to kill me, so yes I’m afraid,” she said in an emotional Zoom interview. “I don’t want to chase these people anymore.”

Surveillance video shows the women entering the station with a child. The NYPD says both women fled the scene after the attack.

The transport union says this isn’t an isolated case. Assaults on transit workers are rising, and union leaders are calling for stronger protections.

If you recognize them, call NYPD Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS. You can stay anonymous.
