The Village of Pelham is preserving a holiday tradition by restoring wreaths that have decorated the community for more than 50 years.

Officials partnered with American Christmas, a small business in Mount Vernon, to rebuild each wreath by hand. The work included wiring, lights, frames and bows.

Mayor Chance Mullen said grant funds were used for the project and praised the craftsmanship, calling the wreaths "incredible."
