In this week's Paws & Pals, ARF Hamptons presented some furry friends that are looking for their “furever” homes.

DUKE: Duke is a 2-year-old male bloodhound. With his big floppy ears and heart of gold, Duke is sure to steal your heart! Duke came to ARF when his owners could no longer care for him. He has a goofy and playful personality that makes him very loveable! Like most hounds, Duke follows his nose with any scent he catches. He loves to run and needs a good exercise and training schedule. Due to this, a fenced in yard is a must for Duke. This gorgeous boy walks well on a leash and would benefit from continued training. He seems to like other dogs, but he would do best with those his size and energy level. Come in today to meet Duke; surely you will fall in love!

ALEXA: Alexa is a 3-year-old female husky mix. She arrived at ARF this past summer when her family was no longer able to care for her. She is a high energy dog who will require a lot of exercise. She wants nothing more than to run and play. However, if you give her a good toy, she will occupy herself for hours. Alexa is very affectionate and will show you with tons of kisses. She is learning her basic obedience and is eager to please. If you are an active person, looking for an active dog, Alexa is for you!

FIVE AND TEN: They are 2-month-old male husky/shepherd mix. Five and Ten are sure to help you beat the winter blues! The puppies were recently rescued from South Carolina and just became available for adoption. Super soft and fuzzy, these adorable brothers are just shy of three-months-old, and they are 100% puppy. Curious about the world around them, Five and Ten are fun loving and looking to please. Like all puppies, they will need all the basic obedience training. With love and guidance, the sky's the limit for these little cuties.

POTAO: 3-year-old male domestic shorthair cart. This past fall, ARF was able to help in a time of crisis. ARF got word of a family with 21 cats being evicted in Suffolk County. These cats were hungry, flea invested, covered in ear mites, and suffering from other skin conditions and parasites. ARF was able to take in 14 of the cats ranging in age from 8-months to 4-years-old, while other placement was found for the remaining cats. Now healthy, 3-year-old Potato, aka “Tater.” is one of these 14 cats now referred to as the“Thanksgiving” cats. Tater is an extremely sweet and mellow kitty who gets along well with other felines and enjoys long naps especially in a sunny spot. This handsome boy is extremely easy going and will easily transition into a new home.
