Off-duty officer struck by car in Brooklyn hit-and-run

Police say an off-duty NYPD officer was struck by a vehicle on Knapp Street Monday night.

Police say an off-duty NYPD officer was struck by a vehicle on Knapp Street Monday night.
According to police, the accident happened at around 9:22 p.m. on Knapp Street going into the Belt Parkway.
The officer struck was reported to have leg injuries but is expected to be OK.
The driver did not remain at the scene and their whereabouts are currently unknown.
