NYPD: Waterbury men arrested for Harlem carjacking

NYPD says two men from Waterbury were arrested for stealing a car at gunpoint late Friday night in Harlem.

Detectives say Jose Rivera and Jomar Crespo, both 21, were armed with loaded machine guns approached a man on West 146th Street and Bradhurst Avenue around 11:30 p.m.

They say Rivera and Crespo then stole the victim's car that police later found on the intersection of Broadway and West 138th Street.

Rivera and Crespo face multiple charges including robbery, grand larceny auto and criminal possession of a loaded firearm.
