NYPD: Pharmacy employee stabbed after stopping robbers from taking baby formula

An employee tried to stop them, and authorities say one of the suspects stabbed the employee in the torso with a knife.

The NYPD say a group of people are wanted in connection to an armed robbery at a pharmacy in East New York.

Police say the five suspects walked into a pharmacy at 1134 Elton St. Wednesday afternoon took baby formula from the shelves and tried to hide it as they walked out.

An employee tried to stop them, and authorities say one of the suspects stabbed the employee in the torso with a knife.

The victim was taken to treatment and is in stable condition.

The suspects are still at large.
