The NYPD is investigating three separate deadly shootings across Brooklyn.
In less than four hours Wednesday night, three people were shot and killed across the borough. The most recent was on Montauk Avenue in East New York at around 7 p.m. According to police, they got a 911 call that there was a man inside of 474 Montauk Ave. face down in a puddle of blood.
The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Tristan Templeman. Police say they are still trying to figure out what happened.
Just 30 minutes prior, the NYPD also responded to a call outside of 822 Clarkson Ave. where they found a 22-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his stomach. The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition. While at the scene, police say they were alerted that there was another victim.
The emergency service unit had to knock down a door of a second-floor apartment to find the second victim, a 38-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to his chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene. He has not been identified by police yet, but officials say the victim did not live at that address.
Earlier in the afternoon around 4 p.m., police say another young man was shot and killed. Police say shots were fired in front of 2305 Stillwell Ave. When police arrived, they found a 22-year-old Rasard Deas with a gunshot wound to his chest.
Investigators say they are searching for two men who fled in a red car that they believe may have been a Honda Accord.
Anyone with information on these shootings is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
