Local families shared a meal with basketball stars during a special holiday event in Tarrytown.

The New York Knicks and the Garden of Dreams Foundation hosted a dinner for 250 families who are without a home.

Players served meals, handed out signed merchandise, and said they felt blessed to be able to help. "It means a lot to be able to get into the community, give back to people that are, you know, less fortunate," said Knicks guard Miles McBride. "Especially in the winter, it's getting cold, so I feel like people just need a pick-me-up and, you know, a good meal and a good time to come together."

The dinner also featured live music, dancing, face painting, and photo booths.
