Police are searching for a man who is wanted for an assault in Fordham.
A 44-year-old man was attacked in front of 2705 Marion Ave. on Oct. 28 around 2:30 a.m.
The NYPD says he was punched in the head and slashed multiple times in the face and hand with a sharp object.
EMS took the 44-year-old to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he is expected to recover.
Police say the suspect was last seen wearing all black and ask anyone with information to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
