Man killed while walking on I-684 identified as Brewster resident

News 12 has learned the identity of a man killed in a crash on I-684 in North Salem.
Police say 54-year-old Arturo Martinez Jimenez of Brewster was walking in the left lane of I-684 when he was hit by a car.
It happened just north of Exit 8 for Hardscrabble Road around 2 a.m. Monday.
Right now, it's unclear why he was walking in the left lane. The investigation remains ongoing.
