After a lengthy four days of jury deliberations, 32-year-old- Haseem Jenkins was found guilty of murdering Westchester County social worker Maria Coto at a residence on South Street in Peekskill in 2024.

Jenkins was found guilty of murder, manslaughter, robbery, burglary and criminal possession of a weapon.

Family and friends of Coto were seen outside following the verdict crying and hugging each other.

Jenkins will be sentenced at Westchester County Court on Dec. 11 at 9:30 a.m. by Judge George Fufidio.
