A man accused of driving drunk and causing a fiery crash was arrested Friday in Garden City, according to police.

Authorities say two vehicles sustained extensive damage during the collision around 12 p.m. on Cathedral Avenue.

Both drivers were hurt and hospitalized for treatment.

The extent of their injuries was not immediately clear.

Police say a 27-year-old driver is facing DWI charges.
