Man accused of holding screwdriver to woman's throat in Haverstraw

Eduardo Hernandez allegedly grabbed the victim by the neck and held a screwdriver to her throat, according to police.

A man from Garnerville is accused of attacking a woman outside a home in Haverstraw on Sunday.
Eduardo Hernandez allegedly grabbed the victim by the neck and held a screwdriver to her throat, according to police.
Officials say the woman was able to fight him off.
Police pulled Hernandez over in Stony Point on Monday. He tried to run but was caught.
The 49-year-old is facing multiple felony charges, including kidnapping.
