Law enforcement throughout Hudson Valley on heightened alert after Colorado terror attack
According to FBI investigators in Colorado, a pro-Israel group had gathered for a weekly peaceful demonstration to show support for the hostages still being held by Hamas after the Oct. 7 attacks.

Police departments in the Hudson Valley are being extra vigilant after Sunday's attack on a pro-Israel group in Colorado.
Ramapo police put out a statement that reads in part, "As a precaution, the Town of Ramapo Police Department has already increased patrols for the Shavuot holiday and will continue to do so with heightened vigilance in light of this incident. The safety and security of our community remains our top priority."
According to FBI investigators in Colorado, a pro-Israel group had gathered for a weekly peaceful demonstration to show support for the hostages still being held by Hamas after the Oct. 7 attacks.
Police say 45-year-old Mohamed Sabry Soliman allegedly yelled "Free Palestine," then hurled several Molotov cocktails at the crowd and used a makeshift flame thrower.
At least eight people were injured, some with serious burns.
Soliman was taken into custody.
The attack occurred at the start of the two-day Jewish holiday Shavuot and less than two weeks after two Israeli embassy staff members were fatally shot in Washington, DC.
