Nearly $15 million is coming to the Hudson Valley to improve drinking water systems.

Gov. Kathy Hochul said the funding will speed up and support major water infrastructure upgrades in the region.

Nyack will receive more than $7 million to completely update its surface water treatment plant.

Poughkeepsie is getting another $7 million for two projects: one to identify lead or older metal pipes still in the system and another to build a new stormwater management system to reduce flooding and pollution.
