Health commissioner warns Westchester will soon be back to March, April level of COVID-19
Citing unnamed experts, Gov. Andrew Cuomo projects that increased social activity over the upcoming 37-day holiday period will further increase the current rate of coronavirus growth by an additional 20%.

Westchester County's health commissioner says the way things have been going, the area is heading toward the dark times of March and April.
Dr. Sherlita Amler says she is concerned that the current yellow and orange cluster zones will become orange and red zones.
She says soon the term "cluster" will be a thing of the past and says the counts of coronavirus cases are going up high across Westchester.
At last check, Westchester reported 4,248 active cases. According to the state Health Department, 2,657 people tested positive this week.
Amler says people want to go back to life before COVID-19 and are going back to social gatherings.
"I think we all understand that but unfortunately that really isn't possible at this time," said Amler.
Amler says the direction the county goes will depend on how people handle Thanksgiving and the upcoming holidays.
