A Jewish Hastings family found six swastikas and other graffiti spray-painted on the side of their home on Dec. 29.
The vandals also threw eggs at the house. The family requested that video of their home not be shown on air.
On Thursday, the community rallied at Temple Beth Shalom in support of the family.
Members of the Anti-Defamation League also attended the meeting, describing the vandalism as a hate crime.
In March, a teenager was arrested in connection with swastikas painted on a dorm at Purchase College. Police say they believe the Hastings vandalism may be the work of young people as well.
