Friend of Bridgeport accident victim: 'He was like a brother to me.'

Friends and loved ones say they are stunned by the death of a Bridgeport man in a car wreck Monday in Trumbull.
"It just doesn't seem real," said family friend Tahira Magliochetti.
Magliochetti and her boyfriend were very close with 22-year-old Xavier Miller, of Bridgeport.
"I know he didn't think that he was going to pass away, like nobody ever thinks that they're going to pass away. Nobody ever thinks it's going to be their last day," said Magliochetti.
Miller's Infiniti caught fire Monday after colliding with a Subaru at the intersection of Route 111 and Technology Drive in Trumbull.
First responders couldn't get to Miller right away because his car was also entangled with a utility pole.
"His smile just lit up the room, but yeah - he was amazing. Funny, cool, very cool. Humble," said Magliochetti.
Miller's friends showed up at the scene of the accident to reflect today. Miller went to Housatonic Community College.
"Xavier was an example of our scholars here at Housatonic. Lot of dreams and aspirations. Want to transform his life through education particularly through graphic design, and it's just unfortunate that he met his end," said Housatonic Community College President and CEO Dwayne Smith.
Friends say that Miller worked at the Lowe's in Milford.
The Trumbull woman whose Subaru collided with Miller in that crash Monday was taken to Bridgeport Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
