A man convicted in the deadly shooting of a Major League Baseball prospect in Yonkers was released from prison earlier this week.

Officials say Tejmitra Sing had been serving an 11-year sentence for orchestrating the 2015 killing of Michael Nolan.

He was released Tuesday for good behavior, instead of completing the full term.

Westchester County Legislator James Nolan, the victim's brother, says his family was not notified of the release.

News 12 has reached out to the Department of Corrections for comment, but haven't heard back.
