A property owner in Yonkers has received a violation letter after bricks fell from a building onto two vehicles, according to the city.
The incident happened at around 6:30 p.m. Sunday evening at 98 Lockwood Ave.
According to Yonkers Police Department, the bricks fell from the façade of the building, causing property damage to two vehicles.
The damage is not currently believed to be structural.
City officials say the owner was told to erect a sidewalk shed as soon as possible and have a structural engineer check out the building.
Crews were seen Monday morning working to construct the shed.
No injuries were reported.
