East Coast on edge: Storm could strike or slide past
4ds agoIntense winds knocked down a tree overnight on Birchwood Avenue in Upper Nyack, according to Clarkstown officials.
The tree took down a utility pole, power lines and damaged a car.
No injuries were reported, but around 100 residents in Orange and Rockland counties were left without power.
Orange & Rockland Utilities said that power should return soon.
