A Fairfield mother and her two kids, including one who is disabled, will not become homeless Saturday, thanks to a donation from a Bridgeport law firm.
The firm of Miller, Rosnick, D'Amico, August & Buttler gave a $2,800 check to the nonprofit Off the Streets Bridgeport.
The organization helps people get housing by providing money up front for a security deposit. The firm tells News 12 it's grateful for the nonprofit.
Both organizations say they learned about the family through a News 12 report.
