Former White Plains Mayor Adam Bradley pleaded not guilty in court this morning to violating a court order and harassing his estranged wife.

Bradley and his wife, Fumiko, are going through a divorce and he's been ordered not to contact her. But now, she says a bizarre phone call violated that order.

She claims he made a 53-second phone call to her home on Nov. 12. She says no one said anything on the other line, but she recognized the phone number as Bradley's and told police there was a distinct crazed laughter and squealing on the other end that she knew belonged to him.

Bradley's lawyer Randall Cutler says the call was accidental. Cutler says Bradley's children use his cell to call their mother, and her number was one of the last ones in the phone. Cutler also says the call was placed from a gym in Scarsdale and the ambient noise there explains the ?squealing? sounds.

The former mayor was convicted nearly a year ago of domestic abuse against Fukimo, and resigned as mayor in February. He was barred from contacting her and was sentenced to probation. But the phone call got him arrested again last Friday.

Bradley was released on his own recognizance and left White Plains City Court through a side door, trying to avoid the media.
