A two-car crash left one driver hurt Saturday morning on Route 9 in Garrison, according to authorities.

Fire officials say crews responded to the scene near Deer Ridge Road around 8:30 a.m. The road was temporarily closed as the vehicles were cleared.

The injured individual was hospitalized for treatment. Their condition is unknown.

The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
