Hundreds of people took steps to raise money in support of individuals with developmental disabilities on Saturday.
The Developmental Disabilities Institute hosted its annual walk at Suffolk Community College's Brentwood campus.
The nonprofit provides educational and residential resources to hundreds of children and adults on Long Island with autism and other developmental disabilities. The event included the walk, carnival games, music and a photo booth.
By the end of the event, $115,000 was raised for the cause.
