Fireworks displays light up NY skies to mark 70% vaccination milestone

Fireworks displays were held across the state Tuesday to honor essential workers and celebrate the 70% critical vaccine milestone reached.
The governor confirmed Tuesday that 70% of adults in the state have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine so far - the threshold at which most restrictions will be lifted.
A total of 13 landmarks were also lit in blue and gold, and 10 fireworks displays were held starting at 9:15 p.m.
The landmarks included:
