Croton-on-Hudson firefighters had quite the busy weekend.
The most challenging fire was a three-alarm fire at a home in the Montrose Fire District Sunday just before 9 p.m.
The incredible amount of fire was too much for nearby hydrants and tankers.
The Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department says, "Firefighters from all around northern Westchester County worked to bring this blaze and the numerous small brush fires caused by it under control for several hours."
Everyone who lived in the home did get out unharmed, and no emergency responders were hurt either.
Croton firefighters also assisted with fire atop an elementary school's roof in the Mohegan Fire District.
They were also dispatched to a utility pole fire on Quaker Ridge Road. Units found electrical wires shorted out, causing the top of the pole to catch fire. The sparks also started a small brush fire.
