In honor of World Emoji Day, the HT40 Foundation launched its “Check In” emoji initiative.

It has designed an emoji that will promote conversation and will symbolize checking in on your loved ones.

HT40 was founded to encourage young people to be there for their peers through actions that promotes social connectedness.

The foundation also has the Shoulder Check initiative in honor of Hayden Thorsen, a Darien hockey player who died by suicide.
