Daffodils, tulips and more colorful flowers put on quite a show on Monday at the season opening of the Colorblends House and Spring Garden in Bridgeport.
“It’s a little bit of a quiet oasis…and it’s a small scale garden…there’s ideas here that you can take to your backyard,” said Tim Schipper, the owner of Colorblends.
They are once again partnering with Ursa Gallery to host an art showing later this month.
There are 22 artists featured in the upcoming show.
“We hope that they come and take a stroll in the garden, and then take in some of the artists in the gallery inside and some of the beautiful art,” said Schipper. “So, if the weather is bad you can still come and visit.”
The opening reception party is on April 20.
