RIGHT NOW: Light snow is falling across the Hudson Valley reducing visibility and causing slippery spots for the morning commute. A coating to 2" of snow is expected with this storm.
WHAT'S CHANGING:
The snow chance for Thursday into Friday has gone down. Just a few snow showers are expected Thursday night or early Friday morning with totals of 1" or less.
However, the snow risk for Sunday morning has increased. It'll likely be a low to moderate impact.
THE FORECAST
A stray rain or snow shower is possible this evening between 8 p.m. and midnight, otherwise the rest of today is dry with highs in the mid to upper 30s.
High temperatures are in the mid-to-upper 30s for the Thursday and Friday.
A nice weekend is in the forecast to start. Saturday is in the mid-40s. Sunday is near 40 but with morning snow showers potentially impacting early plans.
ANOTHER STORM:
Snow is expected Monday into Tuesday. At this time a major storm is not expected, but a few inches of additional snow are possible Monday afternoon into Tuesday.
