'Finding Neverland' opened Friday at the White Plains Performing Arts Center. The musical is based on the life of playwright J.M. Barrie and the family that inspired him to write the story of Peter Pan.
Lead actor Anthony Festa said, "The show is not just about Peter Pan, the story that we all know and love. It's about where the story comes from, essentially, how he came up with these characters. What it took for him to invent Hook, what it took for him to find Neverland, and figure out what that all was."
The musical runs through Jan. 4.
