Lawmakers announced Thursday that several proposals are dead at the state Capitol.
One of the bills would have decriminalized small amounts of psilocybin, which are better known as magic mushrooms. At a public hearing, several people informed lawmakers that psilocybin helped them with depression and other issues.
A bill that would have added transparency to Uber and Lyft bills will also not become law. Drivers from both ride-sharing companies strongly advocated for the bill.
Legislation that would have let towns ban small "nips" bottles of alcohol will not move forward either this year.
