A unique program in Westchester County is helping kids with upper extremity challenges.
A program at Blythedale Children's Hospital is helping kids like 11-year-old Darren, from Ardsley. Darren has been playing the cello since he was 6and has been working with the hospital's program for the past three years.
He works on skills that strengthen his hands and help him with proper placement.
Darren aspires to join the middle school orchestra this fall.
