An arson investigation is underway in Ulster County after a religious cross was burned outside a church early Wednesday morning.
City of Kingston police said the fire happened at Crossroads Christian Fellowship on Albany Avenue.
An 8-foot cross was destroyed, but no other damage was reported.
Kingston fire crews quickly put out the flames.
The State Arson Task Force is investigating.
