Yonkers Police Department is commending 2 police officers from the Fourth Precinct for going above and beyond the call of duty.

The officers helped a mother and her children after a recent call, providing them with immediate shelter, school supplies, and additional resources.

The mother expressed her gratitude for their outstanding work.
