Members of the Yonkers Police Department were honored for their outstanding service.

The police awards ceremony was attended by hundreds of officers.

A total of eight different board awards were given out, with the Medal of Honor being the highest award.C

Commissioner Christopher Sapienza presented the awards alongside Detective Capt. Justin Barbato.

The ceremony was followed by a memorial service for Detective Sgt. Frank Gualdino.
