A smile was put on people's faces by giving them pizzas on Thursday.

Saint Joseph's Medical Center and Saint Pio Foundation worked to distribute 1,000 pizzas to underprivileged patients and families.

The City of Yonkers recognized the day as "Margherita for a Smile Day."
