A venomous snake was found inside a home in Rockland County. 

The Ramapo Police Department says a baby copperhead was found at a home in Sloatsburg Thursday. 

Officers safely removed the snake from the home.

Experts say if you find one of the snakes you should leave it alone and call the Department of Environmental Protection.
