Police are investigating the death of a 32-year-old woman found dead in an empty lot on 134th Street in Mott Haven, a mile from her home.

Police found the woman, who they believe is Silvia Hughes, laying face down in the lot wearing nothing but her T-shirt and underwear. Authorities say she was probably killed somewhere else and dumped in the lot.

Police say a camera on a warehouse near the crime scene may provide some clues.
