A woman was fatally struck by a pickup truck Saturday while crossing a street in Mount Vernon.

The incident occurred on West Grand Street.

Police say Victoria Salberg was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

It was not immediately clear if the driver would face any charges.
