State Sen. Brian Benjamin could be selected to become the next lieutenant governor, and many are curious about who he is.

Before getting into politics, Benjamin worked in investment banking for Morgan Stanley.

He then was a member of former President Barack Obama's National Finance Committee.

He serves the state's 30th District, which covers most of Harlem - and is the senior assistant majority leader.

He's also the chair of state Senate's Budget and Revenue Committee.
