Thursday marked one year since the tragic death of a Yorktown Highway Department worker.
Jake Arcara was working on a drainage project near 477 London Road last year when he was struck by a car.

In Arcara's honor, the Somers Highway Department posted a photo of a memorial for Arcara on Facebook as reminder to drivers to always slow down in work zones.
